SJEM is thrilled to announce that, effective July 1, 2026, we welcome three new schools to our ministry. The Congregation of St. Joseph has transferred sponsorship of three high schools to SJEM: St. Joseph’s Academy in Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Nazareth Academy in La Grange Park, Illinois; and Saint Joseph Academy in Cleveland, Ohio.
This transfer reflects the enduring charism of the Sisters of St. Joseph, who have long been dedicated to the love of God and neighbor without distinction, fostering unity, and serving the dear neighbor through education and ministry. As these three schools join SJEM, we are honored to carry forward that legacy and to deepen our shared commitment to forming students in faith, academic excellence, and service to others.
We look forward to welcoming the students, faculty, and staff of these communities into the SJEM family, and to strengthening Catholic education together in the spirit of the CSSJ mission.
