Continuing legacy … Building the future
St. Joseph Educational Ministries (SJEM) is a Catholic educational sponsoring entity of the Roman Catholic Church.

Founded by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet (CSJ), SJEM empowers lay leaders to provide responsibility for the Catholic identity and the mission of their sponsored institutions.
Together we are more
SJEM provides ongoing formation for its Members and constituents, inspiring the future of Catholic education and forging its future with the bold and loving legacy of the CSJ tradition. Sharing in the CSJ motto of “Together we are more …” SJEM believes that we are strengthened by relationships and seeks to maintain strong ties with the educational communities with whom we have the privilege of serving.
Sponsored institutions and SJEM join together working toward the same vision of Catholic faith-based education that promotes social justice bringing about unifying love to the world. We seek to form leaders who join the CSJ vision and reflect God’s love to the dear neighbor everywhere.
