Rosati-Kain Academy welcomes new Principal Terry Murray

Rosati-Kain Academy is pleased to welcome Terry Murray as their new Principal.

Mr. Murray brings more than three decades of experience in Catholic and independent school education, having served as a teacher, coach, dean, division head, and principal. Throughout his career, he has been dedicated to fostering strong school communities where academic excellence, faith formation, student well-being, and meaningful relationships are at the center of the educational experience.

Most recently, Mr. Murray served as Upper School Principal at Visitation Academy of St. Louis, where he led curriculum initiatives, faculty development, student programs, and community engagement efforts. Prior to that, he served as Head of Upper School at The Hockaday School and held leadership positions at MICDS.

A native St. Louis educator, Mr. Murray earned both his Bachelor of Arts in History and Education and Master of Arts in Urban Affairs from Saint Louis University. He is known for his collaborative leadership style, commitment to mission-driven education, and belief that schools thrive when students, faculty, families, and alumni work together in partnership.

Mr. Murray is excited to join the Rosati-Kain community and looks forward to listening, learning, and building relationships with students, faculty, staff, parents, alumnae, and friends of the Academy. He is honored to continue the school’s rich tradition of empowering young women through faith, scholarship, leadership, and service while helping shape its next chapter of growth and excellence.
